I like your eye and would love to hang #'s 15 and 19 in the house. Number 19 is very feminine, and opposes the masculine 15 well.

Very nice. I think I want to have the large digital image mounted onto canvas, maybe.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I wasn't sure until I Googled your reference to the "purple coneflower". My sisters' mom always had some around and she was a big believer in the healing properties of echinacea, but I never asked her which flower in the garden she was referring to... you're very welcome for the flowers, I've taken a few more if you're interested. I'll try to post them this week.

Honestly, I have no clue what these ones are called either. There's a fluffy red with yellow centre and a fantastic mostly purple and white one that I really like... I'm putting that one at the top of my next post. It looks like a painting.

I'm not planning on framing my favourites, I'm going to mount them on "foamcore". It's a very cheap but nice way of hanging photos -- just a piece of foam backing you can attach to the photo yourself with little difficulty, then a few pieces of sticky putty to put it on the wall. Most photo shops can do it for you. It's very, very cheap.

You're very welcome, Bine, and thanks for letting me know.

i never got around to thanking you fot those echinacea photos - they arrived and they look wonderful. haven't had them printed out yet and haven't decided how to frame them. i think i might not have them blown up so much but put all three together in one frame.
your favorite white w/ purple center decorates my desktop now.
so ... you did know it’s called echinacea. why are you playing the botany idiot with me?
love the photos. thank you so much.

samp: You probably should have cleaned the screen before you licked the echinacea image.

I've almost finished filling the orders, just ExChimp and Ames left. I think, if I do something like this again, I'll leave links to the large format images. Actually, I'll probably update this post to include them. But altogether there are close to 45M worth of files and that kind of eats into my Flickr/PhotoBucket/WordPress storage facilities.

Regardless. I hope everyone enjoys them. I'm trying to think of something else colourful I can take photos of and share... I actually should have said in the post that if anyone has taken photos of any interesting and colourful flowers in worth seeing, please send them along.
